Module 1 : Foundational Concepts

This module covers best practices in software development and provides an overview of the Software Development Life Cycle. Participants will gain an introduction to Full Stack Development, learning programming concepts with JavaScript. They will also delve into front-end development with React.js, back-end development with Node.js, and explore database management with MongoDB.

Module 2 : Mechanics of Blockchain Technology

This module provides an introduction to Distributed Ledger Technology and covers blockchain concepts, cryptographic protocols, algorithms, data flow, and the construction and workings of the technology. Participants will learn about consensus algorithms, governance, advances in blockchain technology such as smart contracts and layer 2 solutions, oracles, and interoperability.

Module 3 : Developing on a Public Blockchain (Ethereum)

This module provides an introduction to Ethereum, covering both Ethereum 1.0 and 2.0. Participants will gain knowledge about the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Ethereum Consensus (POW/POS). They will learn Solidity programming language and develop decentralized applications (DApps) through smart contract development, testing, and integration. Participants will also explore tokenization using ERC 20, 223, 777, 721, and 1155 standards.

Module 4 : Developing on a Private Blockchain (Hyperledger Fabric)

This module focuses on Hyperledger Foundation and projects, specialization Hyperledger Fabric (HLF). Participants will learn about the principles, architecture, and tools/libraries associated with HLF. The module also covers Golang programming language and teaches HLF application development, including network setup, SDK usage, and chaincode development and deployment.

Module 5 : Capstone Project

Designing and Developing a Blockchain Solution (Proof of Concept) for a real-life industry relevant use-case on Ethereum / Hyperledger Fabric Framework under the sponsorship or mentoring by IBA.
